Jason Hait – Owner and Executive Chef

Jason has 20 years of restaurant industry experience under his belt and creates all of The Pour Gourmet‘s homemade sauces from scratch using the freshest ingredients, locally-sourced whenever possible. He’s been making his classic barbecue sauce for more than a decade and is delighted to share his new creations with food lovers in his community and beyond. Recently marking one decade as a New Yorker, Jason lives in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, with his wife/professional taster, Ayelet.

Ayelet Prizant – Marketing Director

With nearly 15 years of experience as a writer and editor, Ayelet is proud to lend her marketing talents to The Pour Gourmet. Having been the sole beneficiary of Jason’s delicious culinary creations for several years, she is excited to share his talent with the rest of the world. A Brooklyn native with some California sunshine thrown in, Ayelet enjoys exploring and lending her support to the Crown Heights/Prospect Heights community whenever and wherever she can.
