Thanks to all who came out for The Pour Gourmet‘s first tasting event at The Owl & Thistle last Sunday! We had a great time showcasing our products, chatting with neighbors and customers and, of course, talking food.
Our premier holiday spread, Pomapeño Preserves, is proving quite popular and we look forward to hearing from those of you who bought some. Please let us know how you used it and how it turned out (especially those of you using it in your holiday dishes!).
On that note, we’d like to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving and let you know how thankful we at TPG are to have all of you along on our journey.
Eat well!

The Pour Gourmet is back in action and delighted to participate with our neighbors in the Built in Brooklyn Craft Fair this Saturday, August 6 from 12PM to 6PM, at the LaunchPad right here on Franklin Avenue. At last month’s craft fair, we enjoyed a gorgeous summer day and a healthy stream of visitors–a great mix of friends, neighbors and new faces.
In product news, The Pour Gourmet recently debuted a new line of healthy snacks with our “Couch Potatoes” (handmade potato crisps with a sea salt and vinegar). We’ll be expanding our snack line in the near future and, as always, we look forward to your feedback.
The Built in Brooklyn Craft Fair will return Saturday, September 3, and we are planning a few other late summer/early fall dates, so stay tuned for updates!

What an awesome day we had at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s annual Chile Pepper Fiesta!

We at The Pour Gourmet have to thank the thousands of Brooklynites, other New Yorkers and everyone else who came out for a fabulous day at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
We had a stellar day of shmoozing, sampling and selling–in fact, we had sold out of all five of our sauce varieties by early afternoon and had a blast meeting dozens of new Pour Gourmet fans throughout the day.
Thank you again to everyone who came out and supported us!
