We at The Pour Gourmet are excited to be taking part in this Sunday’s EcoArt Community Festival, sponsored by NY State Senator Eric Adams and taking place in Prospect Park from 11 AM to 4 PM (use the entrance at Flatbush & Ocean Aves.).
We’ll be joined by some of our friends and fellow vendors from last year’s Franklin Avenue Flea Market, as well as 50 other diverse vendors and eco exhibitors.
As always, we’ll have free samples of our freshly made products; we hope you’ll stop by and say hello!

Assuming the rain stays away, we’ll be just insde the Washington Avenue entrance. We’re usually up and running by about 12 noon, with plenty of free samples for tasting!
Check it out: the Prospect Heights Flea was recently listed in Time Out NY (July 8-14).
This week (as always), we’ll be joined by a wonderfully diverse group of vendors, so please drop by to say hello and have a taste!
P.S. Please check back soon for TPG‘s wrap-up of of last month’s Eat Healthy/Eat Local Fair–we met some awesome people representing local food businesses, farms, CSAs and co-ops and we look forward to introducing them here.

Interested in eating healthy while supporting your local community?
This Saturday, join The Pour Gourmet and a host of other dynamic local groups for the Eat Healthy/Eat Local Fair, organized by the Crown Heights Community Mediation Center’s Leadership Training Institute.
The object of the outdoor fair is to educate the community about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and how to become active participants in the movement to eat local. The fair will offer family fun opportunities to learn about local businesses and organizations currently involved in the mission of bringing better quality food into the neighborhood. Workshops and cooking demos will be offered by local organizations and businesses; there will also be activities and information for the whole family, including a capoeira demonstration and yoga classes from local fitness organizations.
We at TPG are proud to be participating in this event and we hope you’ll come out and see us at the Fair on Saturday, June 26!
